Day and Welcome to my Underpinnings!
On this page you will find some images of various parts of a
Gentlemans underpinnings.
Of course, just looking good on the outside isnt enough
I wear vintage styled long underwear whenever possible. These may be a Union suit ( combinations) of usually a 3 button long sleeve undershirt with Yoke front 3 button fly long Johns.. with brace tapes to keep then supported properly.
For the warmer conditions a pair of summer length trunks or cotton button front Boxers with an adjustable tie back feature.
There are also some summer weight "Athletic" union suits
For the very WWI look i also enjoy wearinga Gentlamans corset. Thes wonderful and quite restrictive items keep you well and truly stiff all day!!

The Nightshirt: When in bed a nightshirt is required. Unfortunately my nightshirt has a habit of riding up during the night, therefore the simplest and ingenious solution is to attatch a pair of sock suspenders to the tails of the nightshirt and hey presto.. problem solved
